Business Development Manager | £65,000 + Uncapped Commission | Hybrid (Guildford area)
A compelling opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a well-established and growing business in the engineering and specialist maintenance sector, driving growth across the UK, Ireland, and occasionally Europe.

The Package

Up to £65,000 basic salary

Uncapped commission (realistic OTE £75,000–£85,000)

The Role
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you’ll take ownership of driving new business while developing existing client relationships.
You will:

Develop and execute a structured sales plan aligned to growth targets

Identify, win and grow new business opportunities across key sectors
*
Build long-term relationships through regular client engagement
*
Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting through to close
*
Work closely with operational and technical teams to ensure delivery excellence
*
Maintain accurate CRM records and sales pipeline reporting
*
Represent the business at industry events, exhibitions and networking opportunities
About You

Proven track record in a BDM or senior sales role
*
Background in engineering, maintenance or a related technical sector
*
Commercially astute, with strong negotiation skills
*
Confident communicator, comfortable presenting to clients
*
Self-motivated and target-driven, with a hands-on approach
*
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
