Job description As a Business Analyst you will play a crucial role in delivering a cutting-edge communication platform for the Ministry of Defence. Your work will help to achieve seamless communication and collaboration across the Defence domain. You will be the driving force behind defining requirements, setting quality standards and delivering impactful solutions that ensure the platform meets the diverse needs of MOD users. Responsibilities Develop clear and structured business and user requirements, along with agreeing clear delivery objectives and goals. Creating appropriate testing and quality criteria and agreeing those between relevant stakeholders. Improving and documenting team processes with our stakeholders to ensure the maximum level of transparency. Creating, managing and evaluating against our Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and contract Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Supporting the creation of a clear, agreed and decisive Minimum Viable Product (MVP) scope.For more information on the Business Analyst profession please see the Government Digital and Data Framework:Business Analyst Person specification To be successful in this role you will need to be skilled in analysing problems and opportunities, and researching business operations (people, processes, technology). You will have the expertise to identify improvements, evaluate options, and define success.Crucially, you will be able to elicit user and business needs for effective service and change delivery. Through your analysis skills, you'll contribute to prioritisation and Minimum Viable Product (MVP) definition, ensuring solutions meet user and business goals within policy constraints. You'll also have proven experience of effective stakeholder engagement across strategic, fast-paced settings.
