Family Law Solicitor Location: Windsor with hybrid working one day from home Salary: £50,000 to £55,000 plus bonus and excellent benefits Hours: Full time, 4 days office based and 1 day working from home About the Role We are recruiting for a Family Law Solicitor to join a well established and highly regarded law firm with over 100 years of history. This is a great opportunity for a solicitor who enjoys autonomy, managing their own caseload, and working in a client facing environment. You will manage a varied private family law caseload with support from shared paralegals and legal executives. The role offers genuine long term progression with a clear route to Head of Department and ultimately Partnership. This would suit someone who enjoys responsibility, building client relationships, and contributing to department growth. This role may suit a Family Solicitor, Family Lawyer, Matrimonial Solicitor, Associate Solicitor, Private Family Solicitor, or Chartered Legal Executive. Candidates working in private practice, high street firms, regional firms, or boutique family law teams with transferable experience will also be considered. What You’ll Do • Manage a varied private family law caseload from instruction to conclusion • Handle divorce, financial disputes and separation matters • Manage children matters and care proceedings • Draft pre nuptial and post nuptial agreements • Advise on domestic abuse and urgent applications • Meet clients face to face and deliver high quality client care • Represent clients at hearings and court where required • Work independently and progress matters efficiently • Support business development and department growth • Maintain risk management and compliance standards • Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff What We’re Looking For • Minimum 2 years PQE within Family Law • Experience managing a caseload independently • Strong experience across private family law matters • Confident in a client facing role • Excellent communication and client care skills • Ability to work with limited supervision • Proactive and hands on approach • Interest in business development • Good IT skills and case management experience • Experience using DPS case management system helpful but not essential Who Might Suit This Role This opportunity would suit a Family Law Solicitor looking for progression and greater autonomy.
