Role: Team Manager
Location: North-Rural Fylde & Wyre
Service: Older People/ People with Disabilities

Salary: G10 - £43,421 to £48,474
The role:
Working and managing one of our very busy front line community social work teams.
1. Provide effective leadership, management, direction and support to the team.
2. Manage a busy front-line service.
3. Respond to referrals urgent in nature and directing staffing resource.
4. Manage demand, manage risk and competing priorities.
5. Be able to challenge and negotiate.
6. Offer direct line management support to the senior social worker, social workers / SCSO's, including formal supervision, HR oversight, case work allocation.
7. Manage complaints.
8. Case work oversight, budget approvals/ oversight.
9. Contribute to the management of performance and data; the demands across the area- reporting to Area Manager
10. Lead the team Case Progression and Wellbeing Team Meeting
11. Be a supportive team member to wider East management team.
12. Attend and contribute to the area meetings led by the Area Operations Manager.
13. Liaise and work jointly with other colleagues, internal and external such as health and contribute to the Integration agenda.
14. Ensure a culture of promoting independence is embedded within the team.
15. Manage and embed operational change.
16. Undertake all other relevant management tasks as directed.
