Vehicle Technician Vacancy - Kettering Independent Garage
1. Basic Salary: Up to £40,000 + Overtime
2. Hours: Monday to Friday, 38-hour week
3. Overtime: Paid at 1.5x hourly rate (including weekend work)
Our client, a busy independent garage in Kettering, is looking for a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their team. Specialising in AC/HVAC cooling systems, they also provide general repairs, servicing, and maintenance on all makes and models, including EVs.
Vehicle Technician Responsibilities:
4. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
5. Carry out servicing and maintenance on various makes and models
6. Work on AC/HVAC cooling systems
7. Perform MOT preparation and repairs
8. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within deadlines
Vehicle Technician Requirements:
9. Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
10. Experience with AC and EV systems (preferred but not essential)
11. Background in a Main Dealer or independent garage
12. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
13. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
