With continued growth this is an exciting opportunity to join their tight-knit workshop team that values progressive training and offers long term career stability.
In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out all duties within a workshop environment, with a strong focus on the installation of attachments to machinery. You will undertake pre-delivery inspections alongside completing basic welding tasks, electrical installations, and fitting safety components such as green and amber beacons. This role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented approach to ensure all machinery meets quality and safety expectations before dispatch.
This role would suit a Service Engineer or Fitter with experience from the Plant, Construction, or vehicle industries looking to join an established and growing company offering ongoing training and progression.
The Role:
* Installing attachments on excavators and track loaders
* PDI's of machinery
* Occasional overtime (1.5x)
* Days Based at a workshop (8am-5pm)
* Competitive Pension Scheme
The Person:
* Service Engineer/Fitter
* Plant, Commercial, Motor Vehicle or Forklift servicing experience
* Happy to commute to Rochdale
