Overview
As a People Partner, you'll play a key role in partnering with our leadership teams to design and deliver people strategies that drive business success. You'll work closely with leaders to attract, develop, and retain top talent, enhance colleague engagement, and strengthen organisational performance. You'll act as a trusted advisor—providing insight, challenge, and support on all strategic people matters—while championing HR excellence across the business.
Responsibilities
* Partner with leadership teams to understand business goals and develop people strategies that drive performance, engagement, and growth.
* Coach, challenge, and advise leaders on strategic and operational HR matters.
* Enhance management capability to create a positive, inclusive, and high-performing culture.
* Use people metrics and data insights to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
* Support the Senior People Partner in delivering the annual people plan, including salary reviews, talent and succession planning, performance management, and engagement initiatives.
* Collaborate with HR Centres of Excellence to ensure HR products and processes meet sector needs.
* Lead regional resourcing strategies in partnership with the Resourcing Partner.
* Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion across the business.
* Drive continuous improvement in HR processes and employee experience.
* Support organisational change, TUPE, restructures, and transformation projects.
* Lead or support complex employee relations matters when required.
Qualifications
* Experience as a strategic and operational HR/People Partner in a fast-paced, multi-site organisation (ideally similar to Compass Group).
* Broad HR expertise across talent management, resourcing, reward, L&D, employee relations, and HR operations.
* Strong knowledge of employment law and experience with TUPE and change management.
* Skilled in data analysis, with the ability to turn insight into action.
* Excellent relationship builder and influencer at all levels.
* Commercially minded, financially astute, and digitally confident.
* Passionate about creating a positive employee experience and developing future talent.
* CIPD Level 7 (or equivalent experience).
