Job Title: Qualified Audit Senior / Experienced Part-Qualified Audit Semi-Senior
Salary: £40,000+ per annum (dependent on experience)
Location: Northampton
Working Hours: Flexible, MondayFriday between 8:00 AM 6:00 PM
Overview
Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Qualified Audit Senior or experienced part-qualified Audit Semi-Senior to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to take a leading position in delivering high-quality audit and assurance services to a diverse portfolio of SME clients across a range of industries.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage audit assignments from planning through to completion for a varied client base
Supervise, mentor, and review the work of junior team members, ensuring high standards of delivery
Prepare and review statutory financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards
Ensure audits are conducted in accordance with regulatory and professional requirements
Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact throughout engagements
Group Audits & Consolidations
Take a lead role in auditing groups of companies, including consolidated financial statements
Work closely with senior team members to ensure group accounts are accurate and compliant
Gain hands-on experience in complex group structures and reporting requirements
Accounts & Tax
Prepare financial statements, including consolidated accounts
Prepare and review corporation tax computations
Ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations and deadlines
Advisory & Development
Contribute to advisory assignments and specialist projects
Support clients with accounting and tax-related queries
Develop a broad understanding of accounting and taxation across multiple sectors
Requirements
ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified (or equivalent experience)
Proven experience in audit within an accountancy practice environment
Strong technical knowledge of auditing and accounting standards
Experience with group audits and consolidated accounts is advantageous
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
