Location: Broughton (full‑time onsite requirement)
Contract Duration: Until 10 November 2026, with potential for extension
Pay Rate: Up to £37.02 per hour (Umbrella) / Up to £27.68 per hour (PAYE)
Hours: 35 hours per week
IR35 Status: Inside IR35
Interview Process: One‑stage interview
Key Responsibilities
* Translate design intent into technical instructions and manufacturing engineering data for aircraft manufacture, assembly, test and certification
* Implement best‑practice methods, tools and processes to meet current and future business requirements
* Deliver detailed work‑preparation definition (routings, BOMs, SOIs, STV calculations) for aircraft production
* Ensure all work and documentation meets procedural and regulatory requirements
* Project‑manage manufacturing process improvements, including implementation strategies
* Evaluate and enhance manufacturing process capacity, recommending changes to product design as needed
* Provide shopfloor support to operations, supply chain and final assembly lines
Required Skills & Experience
* Strong process‑driven background; experience in large manufacturing settings
* Knowledge of lean principles and business management tools (ideally SAP)
* Ability to operate from first principles in manufacturing disciplines
* Working knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering, Design and Business Information Systems
* Experience in aircraft production and engineering methods
* Effective communication and leadership skills; self‑motivated
