Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Community Engagement & Investment Manager to lead the development and execution of our Customer Engagement and Community Investment strategy, ensuring alignment with our goals and objectives. You will take control of the development and delivery, ensuring both have a lasting, positive impact on the communities we serve, putting the customer voice at the heart of decision-making.
You will provide inspirational leadership to the Community Investment Team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation in community engagement. Develop and lead the strategic and operational approach, ensuring customer insight drives decision-making on policies, processes, and service improvements. Work closely across the organization to maximize social impact and outcomes. Build and maintain strategic partnerships at local and regional levels to optimize the use of internal resources and secure external funding for RBH communities. Set clear performance targets for the Community Investment team, monitor progress, and identify areas for support to ensure delivery against strategic priorities and continuous improvement in team performance. Manage the budget to ensure value for money through effective financial oversight.
We seek a candidate with proven experience in leading customer engagement or community investment initiatives and a strong commitment to the values of the social housing sector, with an understanding of regulatory, compliance, and legislative frameworks. Demonstrate success in customer involvement that has led to service and experience improvements. Act with integrity, respect, flexibility, and encourage innovative ideas and new ways of working with a positive attitude. Strive for high standards and continuous delivery and support while pushing to achieve organizational goals.
