EQUANS is recruiting for a Security Officer/Team Leader to be based at West Burton Power Station DNBL on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 42 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £28,.31 and benefits package.
Shift times:
3 days On 3 Days Off rotating through 12 hours shifts.
Day shift 06:00 - 18:00
Night shift 18:00 -
What you will deliver:
You will be responsible for leading a team of three Security Officers working on a rotating schedule of 12-hour day and night shifts (three days on, three days off). The team reports directly to the Security Supervisor. This is a physically demanding role that involves conducting patrols both on foot and by vehicle. The successful candidate must be capable of producing clear and concise verbal and written reports, and be proficient in using Microsoft Office applications as well as modern intruder detection and access control systems.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure your team is set to work in accordance with local operating procedures.
Safeguard site property and personnel from risks such as fire, theft, flooding, and accidents.
Control site access, ensuring only authorised individuals are permitted entry.
Manage the access and exit of vehicles, cranes, and abnormal loads.
Conduct patrols on foot or by vehicle as directed by the Team Leader.
Carry out lock-up and unlock procedures, ensuring buildings are secure when not in use.
Report any suspicious individuals, vehicles, or objects.
Monitor CCTV systems in compliance with local operating procedures, assignment instructions, and ICO guidelines.
Provide First Aid assistance when required.
Perform additional duties as necessary to support the safe and efficient operation of the business, which may fall outside your usual responsibilities.

2. Full driving license - essential
3. Fire Aid at Work - preferred (course attendance mandatory)
