Overview
Executive Chef role at Focus Hotels Management Limited – City Hotel Derry (DoubleTree by Hilton). Location: City Hotel Derry, Londonderry. Contract type: Permanent. Hours: Full Time, 40 hours per week. Salary/Benefits: Competitive salary and benefits including staff rates across Hilton Brand hotels and access to hotel leisure facilities (gym/pool).
Responsibilities
* Oversee and develop smooth operations of a busy kitchen with emphasis on quality and presentation.
* Ensure profit and cost margins are met and aligned with budget; menu planning, cost and budget control to achieve food cost targets.
* Recruitment, training, and development of the kitchen team to deliver exceptional service while maintaining strict food safety/health and safety standards for statutory compliance.
Qualifications
* City Guilds 706/1 or 706/2 Catering, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent; Food Safety Level 2 or 3.
* Minimum 3 years of experience at this level with a proven track record of managing a kitchen team within a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality venue.
* Strong interpersonal skills with a history of developing high-performing teams and managing departmental budgets.

The City Hotel Derry is poised to become a DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel. Facilities include 158 bedrooms, extensive conference and banqueting facilities for up to 450 guests, a leisure centre with swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room and gym, Thompson\'s on the River Restaurant, Coppin\'s Bar and secure car parking.
