The role includes working in a variety of modalities in Radiology. All modalities deal with the diagnosis and treatment involved in giving the patient the best possible experience, with their journey through the department. Working alongside Nurses, Radiographers, Radiologists, and administration personnel will help in your development to becoming a Competent, Committed, and Courageous team member, who will show a Compassionate and Caring attitude when communicating with all service users.
Responsibilities
* Supporting Nursing staff, Radiographers & Radiologists with invasive procedures.
* Assisting the Radiologists with drainages, fine needle aspirations & biopsies.
* Performing daily checks in each modality.
* Supporting other Radiology Assistants.
* Assisting with ordering, receiving equipment & placing in the store cupboard.
* Supporting the Nurse(s) in the Day Care Unit with admissions, caring for the patient post-procedure & discharges.
