We are recruiting Trainee Youth Workers to join our team to work in residential settings. We are looking for flexible, reliable, and interactive individuals.
Position involves providing security, guidance, interaction, and support to service users with complex needs within a residential setting. The goal is to create an environment that caters to a person’s intellectual, spiritual, social, and emotional needs.
You will work with individuals placed into the care system for various reasons, with a range of disorders, behaviors, and needs. Therefore, confidence, patience, and skill are required to work successfully with these individuals and positively impact their lives.
In this role, you will support young people throughout the day with tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, education, and shopping.
Please note that you will need to complete an enhanced DBS check with Fulbridge Social Care and successfully complete one of our induction programs before placements are offered.

Main duties and responsibilities:
1. Build strong professional relationships with service users and staff
2. Maintain a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for service users and staff
3. Keep up to date with communication and information systems
4. Attend and participate in meetings
5. Support service users in managing their behavior using approved skills
6. Promote equality and acknowledge individual differences
7. Protect service users from abuse by staff, visitors, or other service users
8. Write accurate reports and maintain records for monitoring purposes
9. Attend training and achieve qualifications relevant to the role
10. Attend work reliably and punctually following a set shift pattern
11. Stay updated with procedures and policy changes
12. Ensure health and safety of yourself and others
13. Undertake additional relevant duties as required
