As a Parts Advisor within our GroundsCare team at Ben Burgess, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring that customers and colleagues get the right parts, at the right time.
You’ll work closely with our Service Managers and Technicians, sourcing and supplying essential machinery components while delivering top-tier service. From managing stock and assisting in our showroom to advising customers over the phone, you’ll play a key role in keeping our workshops running efficiently.
What you’ll be doing:
* Engaging with customers to promote and sell parts and services, both in-person and over the phone
* Supplying Service Technicians with the parts they need for repairs and maintenance
* Using catalogue systems to identify and quote parts for a range of machinery
* Assisting in the display and merchandising of parts and equipment in our showroom
* Managing incoming shipments, verifying deliveries, and handling discrepancies
* Supporting sales and marketing initiatives, including telemarketing campaigns
* Overseeing inventory control, invoicing, and administration, while maintaining an organised stockroom
What we’re looking for:
* Knowledge of GroundsCare equipment (preferred, but not essential)
* Strong customer service skills and a passion for helping people
* Confidence in using computers and digital catalogues to source parts
* Ability to work well in a team and build strong relationships
* Enthusiasm for sales, targets, and delivering outstanding service
* Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends when required
