Logistics Coordinator We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established Hereford-based business seeking a proactive and detail-focused Logistics Coordinator to join their team on a full time permanent basis. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this full-time, permanent role offers the opportunity to take ownership of international logistics and trade compliance while playing a key role in wider operational improvements. What You Can Expect * Full-time, permanent position * Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm * Salary: £30,000 – £33,000 per annum * Free hot and cold lunches provided daily * Company bonus scheme * Opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking business with international reach What You Will Be Doing * Managing end-to-end import/export operations across air, sea, and road * Preparing and managing all documentation for global trade (e.g. customs declarations, certificates of origin, compliance paperwork) * Ensuring compliance with international trade regulations across Asia, Europe, and the US * Acting as internal expert on Incoterms, customs tariffs, and regulatory changes * Coordinating shipments with sales, customer service, and operations teams * Leading logistics projects including European warehouse set-up, EU TAN accounts, and middle-eastern trade agreements * Managing SLAs with freight-forwarders and driving service/cost improvements * Proactively resolving logistics and customs challenges to ensure timely delivery What We Are Looking For * Proven experience in logistics, international trade, or customs compliance * Strong understanding of Incoterms, global shipping documentation, and trade regulations * Knowledge of EU customs processes * Highly organised with excellent attention to detail * Confident communicator and effective cross-department collaborator * IT-literate with experience using logistics systems or ERP platforms * Background in scaffolding, construction, or wholesale (advantageous but not essential) * Positive team player with a continuous improvement mindset Recruitment Direct are working as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy, you must be able to prove your legal right to work in the UK to apply
