The Role
As Business Development Executive you will drive growth by building and maintaining strong relationships with architects, acting as the primary point of contact for select architectural practices, fostering trust, loyalty and a shared vision for premium brand experiences in architecture. You will also play an instrumental part in introducing our brand to our affluent private clients building trust and credibility as the leading voice in natural top lighting in the industry.
The role requires an individual with a passion for building relationships and networking to develop an eco-system of contacts within the architectural industry as well as having the ability to build a strong immediate rapport with private clients, feeding live enquiries into the business. Elevating the brand through sophisticated and tailored conversations, the ideal candidate for the role will represent the business with the utmost professionalism, ensuring every interaction reinforces the premium brand.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable in both in person and online environments, being at ease holding the attention of a room of clients and continuing engagements into social media platforms to keep the business front of mind on natural toplighting projects.

Accountabilities
· Securing Appointments
o Securing appointments with architect practices that work on premium projects.
o Approaching select high net worth private clients to consult on their projects.
· Deliver a Compelling Value Proposition
o Through CPDs, presentations, social media interactions and third party events.
o Deliver CPDs to existing and new architect practices.
o Attend architect events and host events on a small scale to budget.
o Foster loyalty and trust, building and maintaining strong relationships with architects, acting as the primary point of contact for select architectural practices.
o Visit high net worth homeowners to showcase the aspirational aspects of natural top lighting in a home.
o Ensure all messaging and the manner of delivery is aligned to the premium brand.
· Generating Quality Leads via Repeat Specifications
o Identify opportunities to support with live projects, bringing new leads into the business.
o Develop and take ownership of an eco-system of contacts within the premium architectural industry to continue feeding enquiries into the business from your assigned practices.
o Provide insights into the market direction and potential opportunities to meet customer needs.
Qualifications and Experience
· Experience in a business development role with a proven track record of identifying and pursuing new business opportunities that result in a sale (Essential)
· Experience in the architectural industry or built environment (Essential)
· Experience working in a premium or luxury brand (Essential)
· A results-driven, “hunter” sales mentality with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence delivering CPD sessions to industry professionals.
· Confident with technical information.
· Strong understanding of the specification sales process and how to influence project decision-making.
· A disciplined approach to maintaining client records.
· Full UK driving license and a willingness to travel as required throughout UK.
· Proactive, tenacious, self-motivated, and capable of working independently within a supportive team environment.

The Package
Salary: £32,000 FTE plus performance bonus paid quarterly.
Location: Bourton on the Water and travel UK wide.
Working hours: 37.5 hours plus occasional attendance at evening events where required. Part time hours will be considered, minimum of 22.5 hours over three working days.
Travel Arrangements: Company EV with charging facilities on premises.
