We are seeking a Lecturer of A Level Computer Science and AAQ Computing to join our team at Sefton Sixth Form College. You will deliver high‑quality teaching and assessment to Level 3 learners, helping them achieve outstanding outcomes and progress to their chosen destinations. You’ll teach both legacy A Level Computer Science and the new AAQ Cambridge Advanced National qualification in Computing. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to curriculum innovation and make a real impact in students’ lives. The role is based at Sefton Sixth Form College, a dedicated sixth form campus in Litherland that offers a vibrant and inclusive learning environment for students aged 16–18. You’ll be working alongside passionate educators in a setting that values creativity, collaboration, and student success.

* Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons aligned with our Teaching, Learning & Assessment (TLA) principles.
* Provide clear and constructive feedback to support learner progress.

* Participate in curriculum development and enhancement activities.

Criteria
* Degree in a science/health‑related subject with biological content.
* PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Strong subject knowledge and assessment expertise.
* Ability to inspire and motivate learners.
* High expectations of self and others.
