Equans is looking for an Electrical QS to join our team in Birmingham, East Midlands on a permanent basis to ensure that all electrical works undertaken in the business, whether by directly employed operatives or sub-contractors are undertaken and completed in a safe manner and are compliant, and in accordance, with all regulatory and legislative requirements.

What will you deliver?
1. To be responsible for the maintenance of the overall standard and quality of electrical installation work undertaken
2. Be the main point of contact with NICEIC for Equans Regeneration matters and ensure full compliance
3. Ensure all employees are competent to carry out the range of electrical works required of them
4. To undertake effective works in progress inspections on; directly employed operatives, sub-contractors and agency staff, ensuring documentation and maintaining records for any third-party audits
5. To check, verify and authorize completed electrical certification
6. Ensure the implementation on site of all Equans Electrical Procedures
7. To be the main point of contact with client Electrical Compliance Managers and Project Managers to facilitate client electrical audits and inspections
8. Assist in in the reviewing of Equans Regeneration Electrical Procedures to ensure that they are fit for purpose and adequately communicated through the Equans Business

Who are we looking for?
20. Demonstrable experience of electrical compliance management within social housing
21. City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent
22. City & Guilds or equivalent Inspection & Testing
23. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
24. Knowledge of BS part 1 and part 6 Fire Alarm and fire detection
25. Knowledge of BS - part 1 Emergency Lighting
