Fulbridge Social Care is recruiting Experienced and Trainee Residential Youth Workers to join our casual team. The roles involve working in children’s residential homes and Independent Living settings. We are seeking flexible, reliable, and interactive individuals interested in a specialist environment where full training and qualifications are provided.
Responsibilities include providing security, guidance, interaction, and support to young people aged 11 to 18 with challenging behaviour and complex needs. The goal is to create a supportive environment catering to their intellectual, spiritual, social, and emotional needs.
You will support young people throughout the day with tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, education, and shopping. Interaction with professionals like Social Workers, Probation Officers, and Police Officers, and supporting young people in environments like classrooms, courts, and police stations, are also part of the role.
A valid driving license is essential, as you will need to drive the unit car and transport young people to destinations such as family contacts, school, and social activities.
Applicants must complete an enhanced DBS check with Fulbridge Social Care and successfully finish an induction program before placements are offered.
