Location: Windyhall Care Home, Ayr
What You’ll Do
* Empower Independence: Assist residents with daily routines, encourage independence, and support active participation in daily life.
* Personalized Care: Follow each resident’s care plan with hands-on help and attentive support.
* Health and Wellbeing: Monitor residents’ health, communicate concerns to the Nurse/Clinical Deputy Manager, and assist with calls to relatives or healthcare professionals.
* Champion Dignity: Uphold dignity and respect in all interactions.
* Social Support: Facilitate social interactions among residents and staff.
* Safety and Comfort: Work with housekeepers to maintain clean, safe, and comfortable living spaces; respond to emergencies or call bells promptly.
* Nutritional Support: Assist residents who need extra help with eating and drinking, ensuring nutritional needs are met.
* Spread Smiles: Contribute to residents’ happiness and well-being every day.
About You
* Qualifications: SVQ/NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is preferred.
* Experience: Ideally at least 6 months as a Care Assistant, but we welcome passionate entrants with transferable skills.
* Passion: Genuine interest in caring for the elderly and delivering excellent service.
