Artificial Intelligence (AI) Engineer
Full Time
Hybrid (2 days remote and 3 days in-office)
Wolverhampton
Salary: Negotiable dependent on experience, above market rate.
Responsibilities could include but aren’t limited to:
1. Design, develop, and maintain AI systems to enhance product offerings and customer interactions.
2. Conduct research and experimentation to improve AI algorithms and models.
3. Train, evaluate, and deploy machine learning models into production environments.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver AI solutions that align with company values and missions.
5. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize deployed AI systems for performance and reliability.
6. Communicate effectively with team members, including leaders, to share ideas, discuss problems, and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications and qualities which are preferred but not essential:
1. Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning frameworks, and AI technologies.
2. Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to challenge ideas and processes.
3. Positive attitude, respectfulness, and willingness to collaborate in a team environment.
4. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize work effectively and maintain tidiness in physical and digital environments.
5. Ability to communicate clearly and escalate issues when necessary.
This role could be suited to a recent graduate or someone who may not have commercial experience but can prove the passion and interest they have for the topic.
