Nursery Teacher – Acocks Green, Birmingham
Are you an experienced Early Years Teacher looking for a new opportunity in January? We are currently working with a welcoming Primary School in Acocks Green to recruit a Nursery Teacher for a full-time role starting in January 2026 and continuing until the end of the academic year.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team and lead a vibrant nursery class. Please note: the school are not accepting ECTs for this position and require CVs as soon as possible.
Requirements of Applicant:
* Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Proven experience teaching in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
* Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons in line with EYFS curriculum
* Take full responsibility for planning, assessment, and classroom management
* Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
* Monitor and track pupil progress, contributing to reports and parent meetings
* Work collaboratively with support staff and senior leaders
* Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing

Salary: £150 – £210 per day (Reviewed after 12 weeks placement*)
