Apleona Ireland is looking for a Technical Manager to join the team in Dublin 15 area.
Working pattern: Monday to Thursday from 08:00-16:30 and Friday 08:00-15:30
Main duties and responsibilities:
* Oversee all hard FM services including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety systems, lifts, and building fabric.
* Manage planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance programs.
* Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and statutory requirements.
* Supervise and coordinate contractors, vendors, and in-house engineering teams.
* Manage service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Conduct regular inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
* Develop and manage maintenance budgets and control costs.
* Lead incident response for critical system failures or emergencies.
* Maintain asset registers, maintenance records, and compliance documentation.
* Support sustainability initiatives, energy management, and efficiency improvements.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years’ experience working in a regulated facilities environment
* Excellent pc skills, including Word/ Excel/ PowerPoint and project
* Suitable experience in Health and safety, and environmental issues
* Excellent communication skills
* Excellent problem-solving skills
* Good understanding of H&S and HR
