Senior HR Business Partner - Support Centre

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior HR Business Partner to join Cardfactory. This role involves partnering with members of the Executive and Senior Leadership teams in Finance, Property, Business Development, and Digital to define and develop strategic people plans that enhance employee and organizational effectiveness. The role also champions the people agenda and fosters a culture of exceptional leadership.

The successful candidate will build strong, trusted relationships with senior leaders, embedding themselves in their business areas through expertise, insight, and collaboration. If you are an experienced Senior HRBP with a background in international business, we encourage you to apply.

We operate smart working principles at Cardfactory, combining some days at our support centre in Wakefield (minimum 2 days a week) with remote work.


Key Responsibilities

1. Partner with executives and leadership teams to design and implement people strategies that support business goals and drive performance.
2. Deliver a strategic Business Partner approach through collaboration and a high support, high challenge engagement with leadership teams.
3. Embed talent management initiatives, including succession planning and performance management, fostering a culture of robust conversations around objectives and performance.
4. Assist leadership in navigating international expansion from a people perspective, applying OD expertise to support our global strategy.
5. Identify opportunities to align HR practices across markets, collaborating with the broader HR team to define and implement aligned plans.
6. Provide expertise in organizational design to ensure scalable, sustainable structures aligned with the enterprise target operating model.
7. Support and lead change management initiatives, promoting a culture of learning and adaptability.
8. Collaborate with the wider People function to build scalable, fit-for-purpose solutions based on insights and feedback.


Minimum Requirements

* Previous international HR Business Partnering experience, supporting international teams or working outside the UK.
* Significant experience partnering at Director/Exec Board level in a corporate environment, preferably in retail.
* Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to collaborate across functions and leverage broader HR expertise.
* Experience with mergers and acquisitions is desirable.
* Ability to work at pace, managing both immediate requests and strategic projects.
* Effective workload prioritization and management skills.
* Commitment to personal development; coaching qualification is desirable.
