We have an exciting opportunity for an Equine Veterinary Surgeon to join the Equine team at a successful mixed veterinary practice in the beautiful York area, North Yorkshire.
* full time hours including an OOH rota of 1:8 (moving to 1:10 later this year) with lieu day for every weekend worked and flexible working accommodated.
* practice is established and successful and well equipped with decent DRs and US systems, URT video endoscopes, gastroscope, ECSWT, mechanical dental equipment etc.
* ideally you will have experience in equine work and be able to take on and build a caseload
* role requires you to provide ambulatory equine services to established clients
* you will join a friendly and collaborative Vet team with great support from a team of RVNs and nursing assistants.
* A fantastic place to live and work with the stunning historic walled city of York to enjoy, the North York Moors National Park to explore and the stunning North Yorkshire coast nearby.
Person Requirements
* Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
* Registered with the RCVS
* experience in equine work
