Overview
We are looking for a Band 7 Clinical Pharmacist at Dr Gray’s Hospital, Elgin. The Pharmacy Department strives to provide excellent pharmaceutical care to the people who use our services. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute clinical input across a range of specialties and gain experience in settings such as acute medicine, general surgery and orthopaedics.
Responsibilities
* Provide clinical input to a wide range of specialties and support medicines optimisation across acute medicine, general surgery and orthopaedics.
* Work as part of the pharmacy team to deliver safe, effective, patient-centred pharmaceutical care.
* Engage in multidisciplinary teams and participate in ward rounds as appropriate for a Band 7 clinical pharmacist.
* Support education and development of junior pharmacists and pharmacy staff as required.
Qualifications
* Full registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) is required.
* Hospital/clinical pharmacy experience is desirable but not required for all candidates; evidence of relevant clinical skills and ongoing professional development is expected.

* Contract: Part time 6 hours 7 minutes every Tuesday.
* Location: Dr Gray’s Hospital, Elgin.
