Account Manager (Graduate / Early Career)
Software | Entry-Level | Hybrid
£32,000 + OTE
About the Company
Our client is a fast-growing software development business that helps organisations solve real-world problems using smart, scalable technology. As the business continues to grow, they’re looking to bring in four Early Career Account Managers who are keen to learn, develop, and build long-term careers in software and client management.
This role is ideal for recent graduates, career starters, or individuals moving into a professional commercial role for the first time.
The Role
This is a training-led, entry-level account management role designed to give you a strong foundation in client relationships, software solutions, and commercial skills.
You’ll work closely with experienced Account Managers, gradually taking on more responsibility as your confidence and skills grow. Day to day, you’ll be:
* Supporting senior Account Managers with existing client relationships
* Speaking with clients to understand their needs and challenges
* Helping to organise discovery calls, demos, reviews, and client meetings
* Keeping CRM systems and client information accurate and up to date
* Working alongside sales, marketing, and delivery teams to support account growth
No prior account management or software experience is required — full training is provided.
Training, Support & Progression
This role is built around development and progression from day one. You’ll receive:
* A three-month structured onboarding and training programme
* A fully funded 4-week Furza Training Academy in Manchester
* Ongoing 1-to-1 coaching, mentoring, and regular feedback
* Hands-on exposure to software products, markets, and client management best practices
* A clear progression pathway into Account Manager and Senior Account Manager roles
This is a long-term opportunity for someone looking to build a professional career, not a short-term sales role.
What’s On Offer
* £32,000 base salary + uncapped commission
* Hybrid working from Truro in a supportive, close-knit team
* 25 days’ holiday + bank holidays
* Team incentives, performance rewards, and vouchers
* A positive, social working environment with clear career progression
About You
This role would suit someone who:
* Is at an early stage in their career or recently graduated
* Enjoys communicating with people over the phone or online
* Has an interest in technology, software, or business solutions
* Is organised, proactive, and keen to learn
* Values training, structure, and regular feedback
* Wants to build a long-term career in account management
No previous experience required — attitude, curiosity, and willingness to learn are key.
