You will play a key role in building the culture of our new team.**About the role**You will lead and oversee a team responsible for the processing, delivery, and maintenance of contractual asset data with both Defence (GEMS) and internal (ServiceNow) clients.Your key responsibilities will include:* Developing and implementing a plan to ensure the maintenance and integrity of defence data in accordance with defence standards.* Leading defence contract operations personnel in reviewing, validating, and uploading asset data in accordance with defence standards.* Fostering continual improvement of processes within internal systems (GEMS & ServiceNow) to improve user access and information.* Managing and monitoring data security risks within Service Stream and Defence, analysing data integrity, and developing continuity plans in compliance with ISO 27001.* Managing requests for asset data changes from internal and external sources on behalf of Defence, including creation and updates.* Training of staff and stakeholders in the use of Defence systems to access and update relevant estate information, including but not limited to ERIM, GDL, GEMS and NSIMS.**About you**Our ideal candidate will have:* Extensive experience in data management and processing, ideally within the Defence sector.* Experience in managing data security risks and compliance with ISO 27001 standards.* Experience in the development and implementation of data maintenance plans.* Demonstrated experience in fostering continual improvement processes and a proven track record of leading teams in validating, uploading and reviewing asset data.* Familiarity with Defence standards and data systems, including ERIM, GDL, GEMS, and NSIMS.* Tertiary qualification in Data Management, Information Technology, or a related field is highly desirable.* Certifications in Defence data systems (e.g GEMS) would be advantageous.You must be an Australian Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance.**How to apply**Please submit your interest with the apply button where you will be directed to create a profile on our system.
