Overview
Position: Special Needs HLTA — contract role recruited via Veritas Education. Location: Bradford, United Kingdom. Pay: £110.00 - £125.00 per day. Job Type: Contract.
Closing date: October 6, 2025.
Role and Responsibilities
* Work closely with SENCOs, class teachers and support staff to deliver tailored interventions, adapted curriculum and support plans.
* Provide one-to-one and small group support across Key Stages.
* Promote inclusion and independence, adapting strategies to suit individual pupil needs.
* Assist with EHCP targets and contribute to review meetings and reporting.
* Use a range of communication techniques, including visual aids, Makaton, PECS (where appropriate).
* Support behaviour and emotional regulation strategies.
* Lead sessions and cover classes as required, under teacher direction.
Qualifications and Experience
* HLTA qualification.
* Experience in special needs schools or settings, helping run, lead or teach sessions.
* Enhanced child and adult DBS check.
* Comfortable supporting across a range of needs and age groups.
