Overview
Are you an outstanding Junior Doctor looking for new challenges, career development and a competitive salary? As Resident Medical Officer (RMO), you will provide On Call cover for Cygnet Hospital Taunton, a 50 bed mental health facility for complex mental health needs. The hospital is built to meet latest national specifications for improving mental health within a therapeutic environment. The RMO covers On Calls between 5pm and 9am on weekdays, typically on a 4 days on / 3 days off rota. Weekly supervision and guidance from Consultants On Call are available.

Qualifications
* Fully GMC registered & MBBS (or equivalent) qualified
* Excellent clinical decision making, sound judgement, ability to manage risk, know when to ask for help
* Preferably experienced in Psychiatry
* Able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
* First-rate communicator who can interview, assess & treat patients and write clear, comprehensive medical notes
* Committed to continued professional development
