A well-established automotive organisation based in East Bristol is urgently seeking a Payroll Manager to provide cover for long-term sickness. Known for its fast-paced environment andmitment to operational excellence, thispany plays a key role in the regional automotive supply chain and values reliability, accuracy and professionalism in its finance and HR functions.
Your new role
You will take full ownership of the payroll process from start to finish, ensuring timely and accurate payments to all employees. This is a standalone role with limited training provided, so confidence and experience in managing payroll independently is essential.
Responsibilities include:
1. End-to-end payroll processing for weekly and monthly cycles
2. Handling payroll queries and resolving discrepancies
3. Liaising with HR and Finance teams to ensurepliance
4. Managing statutory payments (SSP, SMP, etc.)
5. Ensuring accurate reporting and documentation
This is a temporary position for a minimum of 3 months, with an immediate start required.
