Secondary Learning Support Role
Convenient Manchester location - easy by Metrolink

· Degree essential, Experience of working or volunteering with children preferred.
This Graduate Teaching Assistant role is an incredible opportunity for a graduate who has career aspirations working within this field. In this role you will be an integral part of the SEND team at this amazing school. You will work with children from a wide variety of backgrounds, each having differing individual needs. You have a strong support network of other grads and school leaders to ensure that the support you provide will be a success.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the educational development of children by providing tailored support in a classroom setting.
* Foster a positive learning environment through effective communication and engagement with students.
* Implement teaching strategies to support children with special needs, including those with autism.
* Provide care and supervision for toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the day.
* Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and adapt learning materials as needed.
Qualifications
* A desire to work with children, especially in special education settings
* Confidence in working with individuals with autism
* Teaching experience or background in education
* Ability to provide toddler care and support
* Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues
