We have a fantastic opportunity for a Preceptorship Psychologist to join our integrated mental health team across HMP Fosse Way and HMP Five Wells, category C prisons, supporting males aged 21+.
Hours
Monday to Friday, 9am‑5pm. 2.5 days on each site; rotating rota (3 days on one site, 2 days on the other bi‑weekly).
Salary
Full time, up to £58,016 per annum depending on experience.

Main Duties
* Offer clinical support and oversight to the Integrated Mental Health Team (IMHT) through training, supervision, and reflective practice.
* Undertake psychological assessments and support complex multi‑disciplinary formulations.
* Deliver and oversee 1:1 psychological interventions and group interventions as part of the Trauma Informed "Making Sense" Programme.
* Provide teaching and training to healthcare and prison staff where required.
* Contribute to audit, service evaluation, and research activities.
* Manage individual and group therapy schedules and maintain accurate clinical records.

Qualifications
* Full HCPC registration as a practitioner psychologist.
* Knowledge of evidence‑based psychological therapies relevant to the clinical needs of people in prison.
* Understanding of complex mental health issues and presentations.
* Experience providing evidence‑based psychological interventions to adults with a range of mental health problems.
* Experience working with a mental health forensic population.
* Ideal applicants have experience delivering CBT, compassion‑focused therapies, and other evidence‑based modalities.
Professional Development
