Job Description
Bookkeeper Key Responsibilities:
3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the organisation.
4. Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments in a timely manner.
5. Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.
6. Assist in the preparation of financial reports and budgets.
7. Ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations and filing deadlines.
8. Support the accounting and finance team with administrative tasks as needed.
9. Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable.
10. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure financial procedures are adhered to.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Bookkeeper should have:
11. Strong knowledge of accounting and finance principles.
12. Experience using Sage and Xero.
13. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
14. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
15. Experience of people management.
16. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
17. Strong communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
18. A professional qualification or relevant training in bookkeeping or accounting.
