GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support learning in a welcoming school in Sinfin. This TA role offers a rewarding opportunity to work alongside experienced educators and make a meaningful difference in students’ academic and personal development.
As a Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
Supporting pupils on a one-to-one or small group basis to reinforce learning objectives.
Assisting the class teacher in managing classroom behaviour and setting up activities.
Helping pupils develop their confidence, social skills, and independence.
Delivering targeted interventions under the guidance of teaching staff.
Encouraging inclusive participation and engagement across the curriculum.
To be successful as a Teaching Assistant, you will need:
Experience working with children or young people in a school or similar setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A caring, patient, and proactive attitude.
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any employment gaps in the last 10 years.
