Project Director – Project Management Consultancy
Location: Central London (Mayfair)
Salary: £85,000 – £110,000 + 30–40% bonus
The Opportunity
A well-established, multi-disciplinary construction consultancy is looking to appoint a Project Director to join its London team.
Operating as a successful SME with a strong UK-wide presence, this opportunity is based within the head office in the heart of London. With c.80+ employees across London, Manchester and the Midlands, the business has built a reputation for delivering high-quality project management, cost consultancy and building surveying services. The firm also operates across Europe and the US, with a particularly strong foothold in the London market.
This is an opportunity to step into a senior leadership role within a growing Project Management team, working across a diverse range of sectors including commercial offices, industrial & logistics, residential, hotels and data centres.
The Role
As Project Director, you will play a key role in both project delivery and team leadership, with responsibility for:
* Leading projects from early-stage planning through to completion
* Acting as the primary client interface on key accounts
* Managing and mentoring project teams across multiple schemes
* Driving high-quality delivery across a range of sectors
* Supporting business growth through client relationship management and repeat work
* Contributing to the wider leadership and direction of the PM team
* Projects are typically high-value developments and refurbishments, with a strong focus on Central London office schemes alongside a growing industrial & logistics pipeline and mixed-use developments.
The Candidate
* 10–15+ years’ experience in Project Management within a consultancy environment
* Proven track record delivering projects “cradle to grave”
* Strong leadership and team management capability
* Highly client-facing, with the ability to build and maintain relationships
* Experience across multiple sectors (commercial, industrial, residential or similar)
* Commercially astute and confident operating at senior level
