Assurance Analyst
Your team
The UKI Assurance Team are part of the second line of defence and work with the business to provide support and expertise to aid the identification, management & mitigation of risk. Reporting into the Assurance Manager, the Assurance Analyst will play a key role in ensuring the UKI division meets business objectives & regulatory requirements by providing assurance over key risks & controls.
What you’ll do
UKI Assurance work across the entire UKI division and all sub brands, giving plenty of variety in your role. You will be expected to:
1. Lead reviews of a variety of business areas to assure key regulatory and business operational controls are designed adequately and operating effectively to mitigate risk.
2. Lead or support a variety of projects related to Risk, Compliance, Assurance, Data, Automation or the wider team.
3. Identify issues in operational adherence to process & regulatory requirements.
4. Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders to discuss findings and recommend risk mitigation whilst balancing business objectives.
5. Present, communicate and articulate information across all formats to a wide range of stakeholders across the division.
6. Set valuable actions with first line leadership, tracking and validating this to ensure sustainable implementation and delivery by the business.

8. Maintain attention to detail and professional scepticism when reviewing evidence.
9. Use effective organisation & planning skills to run reviews/projects and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
10. Build rapport and relationships in all levels of the business.
11. Have good written and verbal communication skills.
12. Continually grow your risk assurance skills, knowledge of the business, and connections to the people around you.
13. Use experience from working in Risk, Quality, Internal Audit, Compliance, or a similar role where you can demonstrate transferable skills.
14. Knowledge of the UKGCs Regulatory Requirements, data analytics, data visualisation, or automation, are not essential but would be beneficial.
