We are look for a Manager/Team Lead to oversee our Care Home Team based at Kingsway Care Centre. You will be responsible for supporting and supervising a team of Registered General Nurses, Registered Mental Health Nurses, Social Workers and an Occupational Therapist.
You will have an interest in working with older people living in a care home setting. You will be required to have experience of working with people with a mental illness, including dementia and other diagnoses associated with the elderly. You will have a 1st level registration in Mental Health Nursing or equivalent. You should have the ability to manage a generic caseload, good written and oral skills and a good level of knowledge surrounding the care of older people. You should be able to work independently as well as part of and leading a team. You will be required to work with and lead multiple disciplines as part of your role; this is a fully integrated team. You will be required to travel as part of your role to varies care homes within the Dundee area and sometimes beyond.
You must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the UK NMC Register
