Our Business Property team focuses on all aspects of non-contentious commercial property transactions, advising on acquisitions and disposals of freehold and leasehold properties, on the real estate aspects of portfolio management, secured lending, corporate support, commercial development and investment and all aspects of landlord and tenant matters.Working across a variety of tasks and responsibilities including:New leases and renewal leasesLandlord & Tenant management workAssisting in drafting of reports on title and Certificates of TitleCommercial acquisitions and disposalsSecured lending workDealing with post-completion mattersOn all matters, dealing directly with solicitor and client enquiries, along with any internal enquiriesEnsuring that all client matter schedules are up to date and are maintained for both internal and external useParticipating in and instigating business development activity, including attendance at appropriate events and production of content for publicationUndertaking a range of continuing professional development activitiesQualifications and Skills3+ years PQEReal estate experience of landlord and tenant work, property transactions and general commercial Real Estate (corporate support experience desirable but not essential)A demonstrable interest in real estate and the type of work carried outA commercial approach to problem solving and providing innovative solutionsStrong organisation skills with the ability to manage and prioritise workloads, working to tight deadlines where the input of others is often required, keeping accurate time records, organising files and carrying out all necessary administrative tasksThoroughness and attention to detailConfident and effective communication skillsThe ability to build effective working relationships with clients and colleagues at all levelsA commercial approach to client servicePreferred SkillsWe would like you to have at least 3 years of post-qualification experience gained with a leading property practice.
