Digger Driver - Archaeological Excavation
We are seeking an experienced Digger Driver to work on archaeological excavation sites. The role involves careful and controlled operation of excavators to remove overburden and expose archaeological features under archaeological supervision.
Requirements:
* CPCS or NPORS Excavator Operator card
* CSCS card
* Experience operating excavators on archaeological or sensitive sites
* High level of precision and strong safety awareness
Desirable:
* Previous archaeological excavation experience
* Understanding of soil stratigraphy
Contract: Temporary / Contract
Location: Site-based (various locations)
This role requires a patient, methodical operator who can work closely with archaeologists and adapt to sensitive site conditions.
