HR Business Partner – Change & Transformation
FTC – Glasgow
Immediate start/Short notice

We’re supporting a large, complex organisation to appoint an experienced HR Business Partner to support a significant programme of organisational change. This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced role where you’ll partner closely with senior stakeholders to deliver complex transformation activity, with a strong focus on consultation, restructuring and organisational change. We’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running, bringing both credibility and confidence when operating at a senior level.


The role

You’ll work in a true business partnering capacity, supporting senior leaders to deliver people‑focused change across multiple areas of the organisation.

* Leading and supporting large‑scale organisational change programmes
* Managing collective consultations, restructures and redundancy processes
* Providing expert advice on complex employee relations matters
* Partnering with senior stakeholders to shape and deliver people strategy aligned to business objectives
* Working closely with Trade Unions, building strong and effective relationships
* Ensuring all activity is delivered in line with employment legislation and best practice
* Using data and insight to support decision‑making and mitigate risk
* Supporting the development of management capability through coaching and guidance


About you

This role requires an experienced HR professional who is confident operating at pace and navigating complexity.

* Proven experience operating as an HR Business Partner within change and transformation environments
* Strong experience managing collective consultations, restructures and redundancies
* Up‑to‑date, in‑depth knowledge of UK employment legislation
* Experience working with Trade Unions and industrial relations
* The ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders
* A calm, pragmatic approach when managing complex and sensitive situations
* Strong stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills
* A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset
