Senior Electrical Building Services Engineer (Data Centres)

In This Role You Will
* Play an active role in all stages of projects from feasibility through to completion within the Data Centre sector.
* Apply electrical engineering expertise to shape projects toward net‑zero carbon objectives.
* Work in an interdisciplinary environment, collaborating with building physicists, sustainability consultants, energy and carbon consultants and BIM modellers.
* Provide technical leadership to the MEP team on a portfolio of projects, ensuring correct technical approaches are applied.
* Manage project financial performance, liaising directly with clients on fees and commercial matters.
* Oversee total project delivery, enabling effective team management and delegation to ensure satisfied delivery of multiple and complex projects, reporting to the Project Director.
* Contribute to the ongoing digital transformation of our business, seeking new ways to increase efficiency through automation and integrated digital design.
Requirements
* Degree qualified in Electrical, Building Services or Architectural Engineering.
* Chartered Engineer status via an appropriate professional institution such as IET or CIBSE.
* Demonstrable background in electrical building services design with experience leading and delivering Data Centre projects.
* Extensive experience of winning and delivering a range of projects, with the ability to provide technical leadership of multidisciplinary design teams including external sub‑consultants.
* Strong awareness of sector‑specific legislation, regulatory requirements, design guidance and future trends.
* Knowledge and interest in sustainable building design in terms of both energy and carbon, satisfying associated regulatory requirements.
