Specific Duties Key Responsibilities (may include) (Line Manager to add/ delete as appropriate to business area) 1. Software Development Writing, testing, and debugging code in languages like .net. Implementing features based on requirements and design specifications. Following best coding practices and industry standards. 2. Learning & Development Gaining proficiency in relevant technologies, frameworks, and tools. Participating in code reviews and feedback sessions. Understanding software development methodologies like Agile and Scrum. 3. Collaboration & Communication Working closely with senior developers, product managers, designers and business analysts. Attending team meetings and stand-ups to discuss progress. Documenting code, processes, and technical findings. 4. Testing & Debugging Writing unit and integration tests to ensure code reliability. Debugging and troubleshooting software issues. Assisting in quality assurance (QA) processes. 5. Version Control & Deployment Using Git/TFS for version control. Assisting in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Learning about cloud services and deployment strategies. 6. Problem-Solving & Innovation Researching and implementing new technologies. Identifying and suggesting improvements to existing codebases. Contributing to brainstorming and problem-solving sessions. Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with attention to detail. Proactive attitude with strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to learn new systems and concepts quickly.
