About Our Client
Our client is an engineering consultancy with a creative team of engineers, designers, and technical specialists. They provide innovative solutions to complex engineering and design challenges for buildings, and are now looking for a Part-time Credit Controller to join their busy team in Bristol.
Job Description
The key duties and responsibilities of this Credit Control role include -
3. Be accountable and take ownership for allocated ledger and be pro-active in managing the collections and resolution of debt and individual queries
4. Develop Client relationships to improve collections
5. Build strong relationships with internal Customers and arrange regular debt reviews, either via phone or in person, to ensure all debt is chased in a timely manner and support process and recommend improvements to enhance portfolio debt recovery
6. Monthly Cash Forecasting
7. Setting up new clients
8. Resolving unallocated cash queries
9. Producing Monthly Client statements
10. Sending 7 days letters
11. Escalation of problem accounts and legal matters to Credit Control Manager
12. Chasing debts by telephone
13. Manage workbench to ensure follow ups are no more than 5 days between chasers and workbench no more than 2 days behind
14. Adhoc tasks as required by Manager
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate for this Part-time Credit Control role will have -
15. Two years credit controller in a similar Role
16. IT literate and good knowledge Microsoft Office
17. Confident telephone manner
18. Strong organisation skills and the ability to multi- task are essential with a good team spirit and sense of humour
19. Happy to work on own initiative, as you are following direction
20. Positive and flexible approach to work
