Key Responsibilities
* Design, deploy, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN infrastructure
* Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability
* Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
* Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and access controls
* Perform network upgrades, patches, and capacity planning
* Document network configurations, procedures, and diagrams
* Collaborate with systems, security, and cloud teams to support IT initiatives
* Provide tier 2/3 network support and participate in on-call rotations as required
* Ensure compliance with company policies and industry best practices
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
* 5+ years of experience in network engineering or network administration
* Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and switching
* Hands-on experience with networking hardware (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Palo Alto, Fortinet)
* Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
* Understanding of network security principles and best practices
Preferred Qualifications
* Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, or equivalent
* Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
* Knowledge of SD-WAN, VoIP, or wireless networking
* Scripting or automation experience (Python, Bash, Ansible)
* Experience in high-availability or enterprise-scale environments
