What you'll do: As an HR Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the people agenda for your assigned business areas. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve partnering with senior leaders to deliver tailored HR solutions that address both immediate operational needs and long-term strategic goals. You will be instrumental in leading workforce planning efforts, coaching leadership teams through complex employee relations matters, analysing data to drive informed decisions, and managing impactful projects that contribute to organisational success. By collaborating with specialist teams across recruitment, learning & development, talent management, and engagement, you will ensure that innovative HR practices are embedded throughout the business. Your ability to champion company values will help foster an inclusive culture where employees feel engaged and supported. Provide expert HR support across multiple business areas by building strong relationships with senior stakeholders and acting as a trusted advisor on all aspects of people management. Lead workforce planning initiatives by identifying future organisational needs and designing effective structures that align with business objectives. Coach and guide leadership teams up to executive level, offering thoughtful advice on complex employee relations issues and people strategies. Oversee sensitive HR cases ensuring compliance with employment law while balancing regulatory obligations and business requirements. Analyse people data to identify trends, inform decision-making processes, and present actionable recommendations that enhance engagement and employee experience. Deliver key elements of People Plan initiatives and manage HR projects from concept through to successful implementation, including change management activities. Collaborate closely with Recruitment, Learning & Development, Talent, and Engagement teams to design and embed innovative HR solutions that support company values. Champion company culture by driving engagement initiatives and supporting strategies aimed at attracting and retaining top talent within the organisation. What you bring: To excel as an HR Business Partner in this organisation, your background should reflect substantial experience partnering with senior leaders in environments characterised by rapid growth or transformation. Your understanding of employment law must be current so that you can confidently navigate complex employee relations scenarios while safeguarding both regulatory compliance and positive outcomes for all parties involved. Your interpersonal skills will enable you to connect authentically with colleagues at every level-building rapport quickly yet thoughtfully-and your communication style should inspire trust even during challenging conversations. Analytical thinking is crucial; you will regularly interpret data sets to uncover trends or risks before presenting well-structured recommendations that drive continuous improvement. Demonstrated experience operating as an HR Business Partner within a fast-paced commercial environment where you have worked closely with aligned senior leadership teams. Comprehensive knowledge of current employment law coupled with either degree-level education or equivalent experience; CIPD qualification is essential. Proven expertise in managing complex employee relations issues across the full employee lifecycle while maintaining sensitivity and compliance. Exceptional stakeholder management skills enabling you to build trust-based relationships at all levels up to executive leadership. Strong communication abilities allowing you to influence senior stakeholders effectively through clear presentation of actionable insights and proposals.
