We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operational performance. Replace worn or damaged parts using appropriate tools and techniques. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs carried out. Assist with installation of new equipment and machinery as required. Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company policies. Collaborate with other team members to optimise maintenance procedures and improve operational efficiency. Requirements Proven experience as a mechanic. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components. Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. Relevant qualifications such as NVQ or City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent are desirable. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work various shifts if required; willingness to undertake ongoing training as needed.
