To deliver those services takes an enthusiastic and customer focused team – and right now we are looking to recruit for Campsite Warden to join our Team.
Responsibilities
* Provide front‑line customer service in the campsite shop and act as a key point of contact for guests.
* Patrol the campsite regularly to ensure safety, cleanliness and compliance with the campsite code of practice.
* Take bookings in person, over the phone and online, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
* Provide clear and helpful information about campsite facilities and services.
* Handle cash and PDQ transactions responsibly and accurately.
* Deal with first‑line customer enquiries and complaints in a calm and professional manner.
* Monitor campsite facilities daily, including toilets, showers, service points and communal areas, to ensure high standards are maintained.
* Clean customer‑critical areas such as toilets and shared spaces, and empty bins as required.
* Ensure pitches, roadways and common areas are tidy, safe and accessible.
* Promote a friendly, inclusive and customer‑focused atmosphere across the site.
* Follow safe working practices including PPE use, COSHH and manual handling guidelines.
* Report defects, maintenance issues and health and safety concerns promptly.
* Support stock control and stocktaking for the campsite shop.
Qualifications
* Flexible to work including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
* Good customer service and communication skills, with experience working with the public preferred.
* A friendly, approachable and professional manner.
* The ability to work independently and use your initiative.
* A practical, hands‑on approach and enjoyment of outdoor work.
* A calm and mature approach when dealing with issues or pressure.
* Basic IT or booking system skills and confidence handling cash.
* Reliability, organisation and a flexible approach to working hours.
Vetting and Checks
As well as checking eligibility to work in the UK, you will also complete an Occupational Health Questionnaire to help us identify and provide any support you may need to undertake the role effectively.
