Role Purpose
Responsible for the safe execution of a portfolio of concurrent projects across various Rolls Royce sites. Ensure projects meet Integral & Rolls Royce standards regarding health, safety, quality, cost, and programme, while complying as a Principal Contractor with current CDM legislation, MS18, and CSO6 standards. Qualifications in a related trade such as mechanical, electrical, civil engineering, building fabric, or roofing are required.
What You Will Be Doing
* Manage projects with values between £50k to £15m at various Rolls Royce sites in Bristol.
* Oversee project execution in accordance with the NEC3 Framework Contract and ensure delivery aligns with the contract programme.
* Provide health and safety leadership to site teams, including subcontractors and suppliers, promoting safety and ensuring compliance with policies and standards.
* Support risk management processes to ensure safe and timely project delivery.
* Lead in the production and management of quotations and estimates.
* Maintain effective relationships with clients and stakeholders to protect and enhance reputation.
* Coach and develop direct reports and trainees.
* Collaborate with the Senior Design Manager to ensure practical and economic designs.
* Identify and support project opportunities to improve commercial performance.
* Liaise with Project Managers to ensure project compliance with MS18, CS06, and delivery schedules.
* Ensure projects meet quality standards according to British Standards and Rolls Royce standards.
* Complete projects free of snag and defects and deliver post-completion documentation on time.
What We Will Need From You
* Proven experience as a Project Manager in building/construction/building services industries.
* Experience working in occupied buildings or campuses.
* Experience with NEC3 Contracts.
* Knowledge of health and safety procedures and standards across multiple sites.
* Experience preparing quotations and estimates.
* Ability to understand customer business requirements.
* Construction-related qualification such as City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent.
* Certifications including SMSTS, JIB/BESA, CSCS, First Aid.
* Competent in MS Office and tablet-based quality assurance software.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Self-motivated, proactive, and able to demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills.
* Reliable, conscientious, and flexible in service delivery.
